Security and data ownership
What is true today, stated plainly.
Search firms keep ownership of their relationships, data and methodology. Here is what is true today, stated plainly.
Human approval is required
A dossier reaches approved only through a person's action inside the app. The rule is enforced in the data layer, not only on screen.
Citations are kept
Every source retrieved is stored with its content and publisher, and every claim keeps its citations, so a statement can always be traced to where it was read.
A record of every decision
Who reviewed what, who approved, and who moved an assignment or a candidate is written to an activity trail and shown in the app.
Outreach is never sent automatically
Seleva does not send offers, shortlists or outreach notes. The consultant downloads or exports them and sends them.
Hosted database
Data is stored in a hosted Postgres database. Evidence gathered while scanning for leads is kept apart from research evidence at the database level.
Personal data is treated as personal data
Individuals' contact details are separated from organisations' and treated as personal data under UK GDPR. Exported documents carry a retention note, and the shortlist closes with a personal data notice.
Candidates are recorded by people
Seleva does not search for people. Every candidate is someone a consultant chose to add, with the source recorded.
One administrator login
Access today is a single shared administrator account, so actions are attributed to that account rather than to a named person. We will say so up front.
Per-user identity
Named users and sign-in through your own identity provider are planned. They are not available yet.
Questions about data, privacy or quality control?
Bring them to the demonstration. They are among the questions we most want to hear.
